We encourage you and your program to take part in ABCT's Annual Postdoctoral Meet and Greet. To participate, please complete the attached sign-up form to reserve a table and send a representative with promotional materials. Email all information on the form to Dr. Tammy Schuler (tschuler@abct.org) by Friday, September 15th. Kindly put "Postdoctoral M&G Response" in the subject line. (Note: Representatives from your institution do not have to register for ABCT's convention to participate in this event.)
Each year over 100 potential future postdoctoral trainees attend this program, making it an ideal venue to attract, meet, and recruit behaviorally and/or cognitive-oriented postdoctoral trainees!
In the first segment, a panel of postdoctoral training directors will briefly speak and then answer questions from the audience on how to choose and apply to postdoctoral training programs. The overview will be held from 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. in the Aqua Salon AB, Level 3, Aqua Level. In the second segment, from 12:15 - 1:15 p.m. (also in the Aqua Salon, Level 3, Aqua Level), prospective postdocs tour the postdoctoral site tables, informally meet with site representatives, pick up promotional materials, and, if both parties are interested, schedule a formal interview.
